About the role
- Transform the Privacy Basecamp Slack community into the premiere virtual destination for peer-to-peer privacy knowledge sharing
- Build 1:1 relationships with community champions and coordinate planned engagement initiatives
- Develop an engagement incentive strategy to increase posting members by 20%
- Track and surface privacy news, job listings, and community resources; maintain a content calendar
- Plan, organize, and co-host virtual events (host 3 within 90 days) to engage community members
- Enable community members to launch regional virtual meetups and create unique customer experiences
- Launch mentorship and gamification systems to nurture engagement and advocacy
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Sales to connect members with advocacy opportunities and surface product feedback
- Report to the Senior Manager of Customer Marketing
Requirements
- Part-time (20hr/week) availability
- Experience building meaningful relationships with industry experts
- Ability to track privacy news, job listings, and resources and maintain a content calendar
- Experience facilitating content creation and managing projects with multiple stakeholders
- Experience planning, organizing, and co-hosting virtual events
- Strong writing and synthesis skills to identify blog and social media content ideas
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Sales
- Experience managing Slack communities or similar online community platforms
