About the role
- Sell GONETSPEED products and services including Fiber Internet, Home Phone and DTV Streaming to residential customers
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing and contact 50+ households daily in assigned turf area
- Engage and acquire new customers and close sales opportunities
- Identify and target potential customers within designated towns/cities and develop rapport
- Maintain detailed knowledge of product features, benefits, pricing, campaigns and competitive differences
- Evaluate customers' existing and potential product needs and recommend solutions
- Maintain sales production to meet or exceed individual quotas
- Represent the company at community events in targeted markets
- Travel locally to prospecting locations and report work activity
Requirements
- Experience in direct sales, preferably in door-to-door sales or B2B sales (nice to have, but not necessary)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work outside in any weather environment
- Must be available to work between the hours of 10AM-7PM (40 hours per week)
- Results-driven, self-motivated, able to work independently; excellent attendance required
- Valid Driver’s license and personal vehicle required; local travel to prospecting locations in own vehicle
- Familiarity with the telecommunications or broadband industry and competitive landscape is a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn products and services enthusiastically
- Ability to represent oneself and company professionally and ethically
- Strong in-person communication skills for face-to-face cold selling
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments and manage projects effectively
- Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand
- Physical requirements: read computer screens (75-100%), hear (75-100%), write/type/use phone (75-100%), frequent standing/walking/stair climbing (75-100%), occasional stooping/kneeling (25-49%), occasional lifting/pulling/pushing (25-49%)
- $5,000 Signing-Performance Bonus for achieving targets in first 120 days!
- Base Salary: $35,000 plus uncapped commission
- Total Target Compensation: $70,000 - $125,000
