Responsible for sale of GoNetspeed products and services including Fiber Internet, Home Phone and DTV Streaming to residential customers
Door-to-door canvassing contacting 25+ new customers daily in assigned turf area
Engage and acquire new customers and close sales opportunities through door-to-door sales
Identify and target potential customers within designated towns/cities and develop rapport
Maintain detailed knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and campaigns versus competition
Evaluate customers' existing and potential product needs and make recommendations
Maintain sales production to meet or exceed individual quotas and monthly goals
Represent the company at community events in targeted markets
Travel locally using personal vehicle for prospecting; mileage allowance provided
Requirements
Experience in direct sales, preferably door-to-door sales or B2B sales (nice to have, not necessary)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
Must be able to work outside in any weather environment
Must be available to work between the hours of 10AM-7PM, equaling 40 hours per week
Results-driven, self-motivated, able to work independently; excellent attendance required
Valid Driver’s license and personal vehicle required; local travel to prospecting locations in own vehicle
Active and Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation required
Familiarity with the telecommunications or broadband industry and competitive landscape is a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to learn products and services enthusiastically
Ability to represent company professionally and ethically
Strong in-person communication skills for face-to-face cold selling
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and manage projects effectively
Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand
Physical requirements: must be able to read computer screens and reports; hear well; write/type/use phone; frequent standing, walking, stair climbing; occasional stooping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing
Benefits
$5,000 Signing-Performance Bonus for achieving targets in first 120 days
Base Salary: $35,000 plus uncapped commission
