Engage and acquire new residential customers through door-to-door sales, contacting 25+ new customers daily.
Identify and target potential customers within designated towns/cities and develop rapport to understand needs.
Maintain detailed knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and campaigns versus competition.
Evaluate customers' existing and potential product needs and make recommendations.
Maintain sales production to meet or exceed individual quotas.
Represent the company at community events in targeted markets.
Work effectively and efficiently in assigned turf area; report progress as required.
Participate in paid training; follow sales processes and use company systems.
Requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Must be able to work outside in any weather environment.
Must be available to work between the hours of 10AM-7PM, equaling 40 hours per week.
Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently; excellent attendance a must.
Valid Driver’s license and personal vehicle a must (local travel; mileage allowance provided).
Familiarity with the telecommunications or broadband industry and competitive landscape is a plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to learn products and services enthusiastically.
Ability to always represent oneself and company in a professional and ethical manner.
Strong in-person communication skills for face-to-face cold selling.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and manage projects effectively.
Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand.
Bi-lingual in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus but not required.
Physical requirements: Must be able to read computer screens (75-100%); hear well enough to communicate (75-100%); write/type/use phone system (75-100%); frequent standing, walking, and stair climbing (75-100%); occasional stooping/kneeling (25-49%); occasional lifting/pulling/pushing (25-49%).
