About the role
- Develop Care program deliveries; manage project timelines from design to release and resolve inter-team dependencies
- Lead production launches and contribute to ongoing system improvements
- Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between Product Management, Engineering, Business teams and cross-functional teams like Learning & Development, Operations, Finance
- Facilitate conversations and SOW creation with vendors who provide contingent workers as needed
- Handle Program Management systems, communicate progress, analyze data, balance trade-offs and achieve outcomes
- Anticipate bottlenecks, handle critical issues, foresee and make trade-offs between business needs and technical constraints
- Prioritize results over output; manage complex projects and gradually deliver to meet organizational OKRs and landmarks
- Drive consensus on project and rollout plans, set timelines, and manage program progress across stakeholders
Requirements
- 12+ years of overall experience in software development industry
- 6+ years of experience collaborating directly with engineering teams, including significant experience in technical program management roles
- Demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects and strong program management background
- Proven experience managing programs across multi-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience working with product management on strategy and requirements and collaborating with engineering on software delivery
- Experience facilitating vendor conversations and SOW creation for contingent workers
- Ability to anticipate bottlenecks, handle critical issues, make trade-offs balancing business needs and technical constraints
- Proficiency prioritizing results over output, managing complex projects to meet objectives and key results
- Strong judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership
- Hands-on exposure to current and new technologies
- Project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs for multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience working in support organizations (added advantage)
- Experience leading releases using Atlassian Suite (Jira, Atlas, Confluence)
- Exposure to AI-based Program Management (added advantage)
