About the role
- Manage international customer projects from signed contract to customer handover
- Financial management and resource planning for projects in the department
- Commercial responsibility for customers in collaboration with sales and the project team
- Project planning and management, including resource and delivery planning
- Overall responsibility for timely ordering of equipment and materials from Haarslev's supply chain and external subcontractors
- Responsible for budget schedule (milestones and deadlines), quality, project profitability, and risk management
- Customer and supplier engagement with focus on increasing customer satisfaction
- Budgeting and financial reporting
- Lead and develop a team (2 Technical Project Managers, 1 Project Manager, 2 Project Engineers); motivate, coach and develop team members
- Expect ~25-50 travel days annually; team based at Haarslev headquarters
Requirements
- Solid experience in managing complex projects, ideally within process-oriented industries and in an international environment
- Background as a marine engineer or engineer is a possible profile
- Strong commercial, technical and managerial insight
- Strong customer focus and commercial mindset
- Responsibility, independence and proactivity, with the courage to challenge the status quo
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage a high degree of variation while maintaining a clear overview
- Willingness to travel approximately 25-50 days annually
- Leadership experience not required (opportunity to grow)
