About the role
- Own multi-state employment compliance across multiple states
- Maintain and improve the employee handbook and policies
- Manage all employee records and HRIS administration
- Administer benefits programs
- Oversee payroll coordination
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for various roles
- Design onboarding programs for new hires
- Serve as a resource for employee relations matters
- Develop performance review processes
- Manage background check processes for defense contracts
- Champion the company's core values and culture
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state employment compliance
- Proven ability to build HR processes and systems
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
