About the role
- Identify and understand complex customer needs and requirements
- Develop and customize solutions using Geotab’s open platform
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Geotab ecosystem for partners and end-users
- Engage and collaborate with strategic partners and key end-users to optimize use of Geotab technology
- Collaborate with sales, customer care, product management and other solutions engineering teams as a key technical resource
- Drive revenue growth by translating technical capabilities into business value and delivering demonstrations and pilots
- Ensure partner and end-user satisfaction through prompt, accurate service and internal support
- Support partner upskilling and adoption of best practices across channels
- Assess and analyze complex partner and end-user business challenges and propose solutions or alternatives
- Provide partner and end-user feedback to inform product improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of customer/partner engagements and solution designs
- Manage high-impact projects and strategic customer/partner implementations
- Create and contribute to processes and procedures, handle escalations and drive change
- Mentor and support Solutions Engineers and other team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience may be substituted
- 5-8 years experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Business Development, Technical Account Management, Engineering Support, Software Development, Automotive Engineering, or Data Science
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, or C#
- Extensive experience with API integrations
- Ability to work with Agile Work Management, Ticketing and CRM tools like JIRA and Salesforce
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, and data visualization tools like Superset or Power BI
- Strong communication and presentation skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to maintain and grow technical knowledge to SME level
- Eligibility to work in the United States (Geotab verifies via E-Verify)
