Solutions Engineer

• Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to empower end-users and partners and enhance their understanding of Geotab solutions.
• Engage and collaborate with strategic partners and key end-users to optimize their utilization of Geotab's technology, products, and solutions, tailoring the approach to meet their complex and specific needs.

• Assess and analyze complex partner and end-user business challenges, identifying Geotab’s viability and proposing alternative approaches when necessary.

• Define and lead the global sales enablement strategy aligned to revenue generation priorities, go-to-market initiatives, and business growth objectives.
• Oversee product and solution enablement across Geotab’s portfolio, ensuring consistent positioning, messaging, and execution across all product areas.
• Establish and oversee a structured, global go-to-market readiness model to ensure Sales is fully prepared ahead of product launches.

• Manage and develop Geotab partners - by driving revenue and unit sales through new and existing reseller partnerships.
• Work with internal stakeholders in sales, marketing, and Marketplace to develop strategic sales and business development plans for your assigned accounts and execute.
• Document sales and marketing activity through Salesforce - maintain and update regularly.

• Rapidly troubleshoot complex problems across the application stack, utilizing observability tools to identify root causes.
• Coordinate effectively with development, infrastructure, and other technical teams during incidents to implement fixes and restore service swiftly.
• Clearly communicate incident status, impact, and resolution steps to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to improve monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms for proactive detection of issues impacting Critical User Journeys (CUJs) within the application/product and computing architecture.
• Monitor application/product and system health proactively using a combination of tools to ensure high availability and adherence to Service Level Objectives (SLOs) / Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
