About the role
- Own the end-to-end F&A process with minimum supervision
- Execute internal controls in accordance with clients
- Manage client and process independently and resolve queries/disputes with clients
- Reporting: prepare monthly/weekly/daily reports and dashboards; review backlog and cycle time reports
- Actively manage business continuity plans for the process
- Prioritize team tasks to meet timeliness and accuracy standards
- Continuously coach and develop Assistant Managers & Management Trainees; hire, assess, and document performance
- Support team priorities and initiatives and effectively manage workload
- Manage team operations, negotiate, and drive problem resolution
- Identify automation opportunities (QPA/RPA) and work with LDT for implementation
- Ensure proper escalation procedures are followed and communicate issues to leadership
- Ensure SLA understanding and reporting; ensure key metrics are met and services delivered to end users
- Provide required data for audits and participate in compliance audits
- Drive continuous improvement in key operational metrics through Six Sigma methodologies
- Participate in governance meetings at country/region level and ensure collaboration to meet deliverables
- Establish accounting process controls through internal policies
- Daily use of client tools for assigned activities; perform daily quality checks for matching and update FLM Cockpit
Requirements
- Prior work experience - Manager experience
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of entire CTC process
- Expertise in managing a team of AR and AP analysts
- Strong operational knowledge & proven track record running high performing AR and AP teams
- Excellent Leadership skills: resource management, team performance management, recruitment and training
- Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, client management skills
- Relevant AP domain experience
- Language level: Arabic C2, English C1
- Ability to help team members in problem areas and take decisions under tight deadlines
- Ability to handle varied volumes of workloads and meet targets and deadlines on time
- Experience with reporting: Monthly/Weekly/Daily and Dashboard preparation
- Understanding and reporting of Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Experience delivering required data for audit purposes and participating in compliance audits
- Team management & negotiation skills; problem-solving attitude
- Ability to manage business continuity plans and follow escalation procedures
- Awareness/understanding of industry best practices and benchmarking
- Daily usage of client tools; daily quality checks and FLM Cockpit updates
- Lookout for automation opportunities (QPA/RPA) and work with LDT team
- Participate in governance meetings at country/region level
- Preferred: Exposure to Six Sigma training
- Preferred: Experience with international process transition
- Preferred: Experience creating, implementing & driving Structured Action Plans
