Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of education and readiness initiatives with a focus on innovation, CTE, and entrepreneurship.
Manage multiple federal grants, including compliance, procurement, contracting, reporting, and budget oversight.
Engage with high-level external stakeholders, nurturing existing and developing new partnerships for innovative organizational growth.
Supervise and mentor team members to ensure effective delivery of programs.
Engage schools, community partners, and employers in building pathways that support student success and future readiness.
Stay informed on economic and education trends nationally, regionally across Appalachia, and within West Virginia to ensure alignment between organizational strategy and school-community needs.
Serve as a subject matter expert in CTE policy, workforce, and entrepreneurship education, supporting both internal teams and external partners.
Represent the organization with professionalism and presence at state, regional, and national levels.
Lead and contribute to innovation strategy in development of educational programming and new opportunities.
Manage program budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
Seek and secure funding opportunities through grant writing and other sources.
Travel as needed, including occasional airline travel and overnight stays to support program delivery and maintain project deliverables.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, county, state, and federal regulations, and other identified requirements.
Maintain a remote working environment that incorporates best practices for personal safety and organizational productivity and complies with company policies.

Master’s degree in education, public policy, workforce development, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
6–10 years of progressive experience in education, workforce readiness, and/or related fields.
Demonstrated success developing and managing grants, budgets, and compliance requirements.
Experience supervising and mentoring program staff.
Strong track record of partnership development across education, business, and community stakeholders.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and public speaking skills; personable, professional and polished in diverse settings.
Strong project management skills and ability to balance strategy with execution.
Knowledge of West Virginia’s education and economic context strongly preferred.
Benefits
Salary: $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
