About the role
- Support the architecture, implementation, and optimization of AWS infrastructure to support AI workloads, ensuring high availability and compliance
- Collaborate with data scientists, security teams, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable cloud environments using DevSecOps methodologies
- Drive cost optimization, security compliance, and operational excellence through automation in a small, agile team
- Utilize AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenSearch, ECR, DynamoDB, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation), Linux, Bash/Python scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git
- Play a crucial role in growing GDIT's AI capabilities and business opportunities and support AI proof-of-concepts
- Document solutions and procedures; create architecture diagrams using Draw.io or Visio
- Communicate and collaborate with data scientists and security teams
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- 1+ years of related experience
- Must have Linux OS, Bash/Python scripting, CloudFormation, networking, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS services including IAM, S3, Route53, EC2, CloudWatch, RDS, and VPC
- Experience utilizing AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenSearch, ECR, DynamoDB, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation)
- Experience working with IAM policies and security groups
- Ability to document solutions and procedures using Confluence; create architecture diagrams using Draw.io or Visio
- Communication skills for collaborating with data scientists and security teams
- Motivated and willing to learn
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Developer Associate) highly desired
- US Citizenship not required
