About the role

Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
Architect and manage networking, storage, compute, and security within AWS
Lead automation initiatives for provisioning, monitoring, and incident response
Optimize infrastructure performance and cost management
Establish and enforce security best practices across cloud environments
Stay ahead of AWS innovations and proactively adopt relevant new technologies
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in production and non-production environments
Support development teams by enabling seamless deployments and integrating cloud infrastructure into the software delivery lifecycle

5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role, with a strong focus on AWS
Deep expertise with core AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation/Terraform)
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
Hands-on experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools
Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (Bitbucket or Git-based workflows)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design and implement scalable solutions
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, or SysOps Administrator) are highly valued
Proven experience leading cloud infrastructure projects from design to production
