About the role
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to assess and select suitable technologies and tools
- Configure and set up development, production, and other necessary environments
- Define and implement security measures according to best practices
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Document operational aspects of platforms
- Lead training sessions and knowledge-sharing
- Provide recommendations to data team leadership to ensure smooth processes at scale
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in software development, systems administration, or infrastructure management
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell
- Solid knowledge of AWS and hands-on experience with S3, DynamoDB, IAM, SQS, SNS, LakeFormation
- Expertise in infrastructure automation and deployment tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, Terragrunt or CDK
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and knowledge of Kubernetes
- Experience with automation tools like ArgoCD or Flux
- Proficiency in Linux (file system management, package/process handling, security hardening, patch management)
- Ability to lead discussions with clients and provide recommendations
- Work from EU and a work permit to work from EU required
- Active VAT status in the EU VIES registry required
- English proficiency (application asks minimum B2)
