About the role
- GDIT is seeking a Capture Director for the Federal Civilian Division to join our Federal Health Growth team and lead capture pursuits in support of our Federal Health Business Area.
Report to the Federal Health Growth VP and be responsible to support driving the capture processes in concert with our business development executives and solution architects.
Lead strategic capture activities and be responsible for leading opportunities of at least $50M or more toward high win probability.
Work in conjunction with Business Development, the Capture Manager is responsible for developing and executing capture strategies for assigned opportunities to secure new and/or re-compete contracts.
Responsible for overall win strategy development activities including solutions development, competitive assessments, teaming, pricing strategy recommendations, communications, customer engagement throughout the entire business acquisition lifecycle.
Developing and managing the effective execution of capture pursuits to approved budgets and tracking performance to cost and schedule and communicating status to leadership.
Support Business Development and/or Account Team to develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers and partners.
Formulate and support the communication and implementation of an integrated business development, capture and proposal strategy that highlights GDIT’s value proposition and discriminators.
Tracking and communication of capture status and results to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related technical, scientific, business, health or a related discipline.
10+ years experience leading capture efforts on large/strategic contracts.
In support of the Federal Health System is preferred.
5+ years of hands-on experience in Federal Sales, Business Development and/or Strategic Capture and Proposal Management.
Experience with win strategy, pricing, proposal and staffing activities.
Demonstrated experience leading large, complex captures resulting in winning competitive single award contracts.
