Partner with the Growth Lead to design and execute a specialty sales growth strategy focused on expanding GeneDx’s presence within existing accounts and unlocking new opportunities.
Drive account expansion by strengthening long-term relationships, identifying unmet needs, and increasing utilization of GeneDx’s genomic solutions.
Establish a scalable, repeatable growth playbook tailored to specialty markets that accelerates adoption, deepens engagement, and improves customer retention.
Partner with stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and deliver tailored solutions that create value for both patients and providers.
Build and develop a high-performing specialty sales team over time, equipping them with the tools, insights, and coaching needed to expand business within existing accounts.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds growth objectives.
Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Product, and Operations to design and deliver educational campaigns, clinical resources, and tailored solutions that support account growth.
Work in partnership with other Business VPs to create seamless, coordinated strategies across shared accounts and regions.
Provide actionable market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform product strategy and enhance GeneDx’s position in the market.
Represent the company at industry meetings, conferences, and customer engagements as a subject matter expert in genomics.
Ensure a best-in-class customer experience from initial engagement through ongoing support.
Travel up to 60% to cultivate relationships, drive deals, and represent GeneDx in the market.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) preferred.
12 + years of progressive sales leadership experience in healthcare, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
Experience with sales strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success developing and executing go-to-market and growth strategies.
Proven track record building and leading high-performing sales organizations.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
Passion for improving patient outcomes and advancing the field of genomic medicine.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation for work-related travel.
