About the role
- Build rapport with inbound callers to Insure businesses across the country
- Use compassion and persuasion skills to uncover customer needs and guide customers through relevant coverage options
- Prepare quotes and convert quotes to policies using a variety of product options
- Provide outstanding service and salesmanship to show customers the value that comes with being a GEICO policyholder
- Work in a fast-paced and competitive, high-volume call center environment
- Participate in training and orientation (around 6 months)
Requirements
- Desire to learn and leverage knowledge to develop your skills
- Minimum of 2 years or more in Sales experience required
- Entrepreneurial experience or professional office experience
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to listen actively and present complex information clearly
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent (college degree or currently pursuing preferred)
- Preferred: Active P&C Producer License
- Preferred: Commercial Insurance Sales experience
- Preferred: Associates Degree or higher
