Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies and achieve optimal contractual conditions while ensuring internal customer satisfaction
Act as sourcing leader within Project Team, responsible for SQDC (Safety/Quality/Delivery/Cost) deliverables through collaboration with GCL/CLS/Buyer/Expeditor and cross-functional teams
ITO handover: smooth hand-over of sourcing scope from ITO to OTR; evaluate budget before ITO-OTR hand-over and report risks/opportunities; support project planner and establish Project Procurement Plan (PPP) and Engineering Procurement Plan (EPP); issue project-related purchasing conditions (PRPC)
OTR execution: own project sourcing budget; support GCL/CSL to achieve best costs; manage Project Sourcing Tracker and ensure data solidity; drive sourcing KPIs (CTC, EAC, BCC, NNT) and timely PO issuance
Ensure suppliers meet contractual requirements and goods are delivered on time and to quality by liaising with engineering, SQE, expeditor and internal stakeholders; conduct mitigation plans to avoid delays and eliminate liquidated damages exposure
Manage OTR-ITO feedback on costs, delivery, and vendor lists in a timely manner
Strategy: develop sourcing strategy for assigned site/P&L to achieve cost productivity, cash flow, and controllership goals; support global supplier selection, qualification, development, and full contract lifecycle management
Drive cost reduction projects via contract negotiation, process changes, and sustainable cost controls in collaboration with Finance; create and enforce procurement policies and optimize sourcing resources
Collaborate with engineering, logistics and commercial teams to minimize transportation costs and meet localization requirements; align with global commodity leaders and participate in companywide strategic sourcing initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 8 years of commercial experience in Sourcing, Sales, Commercial Operations, and/or Supply Chain
Prior sourcing experience in negotiating, identifying opportunities, selecting suppliers, sourcing strategy, and implementing contracts
Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
Strong project management and process improvement skills
Change agent with ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Process leadership experience such as CAP, Workout, process improvement, or quality
CPM or APICS certification
Oracle Purchasing system experience
Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
