About the role

  • Responsible for selling Maternal Infant Care equipment to new customers and maintaining relationships with existing accounts in the territory (Oklahoma and Western Kansas)
  • Covered products include GE fetal monitor, warmers, incubators and supporting equipment
  • Support customers post-sale to ensure continued success and growth
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of territory, product lines, markets, sales processes, and customer groups to execute policy/strategy
  • Use judgment to propose solutions outside set parameters for complicated day-to-day problems
  • Prioritize information for decision making using technical experience and analytical thinking
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small low-risk projects
  • Explain information and develop skills to build team consensus
  • Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree & 5 years of experience; OR High School Diploma/GED & 8 years of experience; OR Bachelors Degree & a graduate of GE HealthCare CLP
  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to decision makers
  • Must live in the territory and be willing to travel within the territory
  • 5 years capital sales experience and capital budget process knowledge (desired)
  • Prior sales experience within hospitals (desired)
  • Ideally experience within Labor and Delivery units and NICU (desired)
  • Experience working with clinical and biomedical stakeholders (desired)
