About the role
- Analyze technologies that support cloud and on-prem (CoLo/site) services
- Define roadmap for hosting technologies that best enable customer value
- Evaluate future hosting technologies that are scalable, highly available and secure
- Determine best future technologies that complement and evolve existing capabilities
- Understand how future hosting strategies can unlock AI opportunities
- Collaborate with global teams of Service Owners, Architects, and Engineers
- Stay connected with customers to understand needs and demands
- Optimize decision frameworks for workload placement by performance, cost and complexity
- Collaborate with service owners for cloud, on-prem and CXO communities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience
- Minimum 7 years managing or leading Infrastructure services
- Evaluating hosting technologies
- Extensive technical depth in on-prem architecture, infrastructure and product selection
- Extensive technical depth in Cloud (AWS, Azure) architecture and capabilities
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
