About the role
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions for ITAM, ITOM, ITSM, SPM, HRSD
- Integrate third party Software Assets Data with ServiceNow SAM application
- Provide subject matter expertise in design, development and implementation within the ServiceNow Platform for ITAM applications
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Proactively identify issues, troubleshoot and provide fixes; work on support tickets
- Maintain knowledge of the latest ServiceNow features
- Document processes and produce Technical Design Documents
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, ServiceNow Product Owner, ServiceNow Architect and Business Analyst to build solutions
Requirements
- 7-8 years’ experience in software development in ServiceNow
- Hands-on experience working on ITAM (Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management), ITOM, ITSM
- Demonstrated ability to advise customers on the proper use of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and its implications across ServiceNow products
- Advanced ServiceNow technical skills
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other tools and third-party Software Asset data
- Experience with ServiceNow product suites: ITAM, ITOM, ITSM, SPM, HRSD
- Ability to provide technical guidance to junior developers
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot and fix issues; work on support tickets
- Document processes and create Technical Design Documents
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator
- Certified Implementation Specialist in SAM
- Preferred: Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Preferred: Knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Preferred: Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping
- Preferred: Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
