Support Engineer

• First point of contact for customers regarding electrical questions about packaging machines
• Handling incoming service requests via our ticketing system
• Independently performing remote services (fault analysis, parameter checks, software adjustments)
• Occasional on-site assignments worldwide
• Troubleshooting and technical support for all questions related to machine functionality
• Active participation in cross-service projects and close coordination with other departments

Artificial Intelligence

• Actively integrate artificial intelligence into our process landscape
• Identify and prioritize suitable AI use cases
• Support the entire implementation process from the use-case brief through pilot to rollout
• Facilitate and coach the AI key-user group
• Develop and implement AI applications
• Apply knowledge of Python, R or comparable technologies and have initial experience with chatbots
• Keep interfaces and system architectures in view
• Lead (sub-)projects to introduce AI and process solutions
• Facilitate cross-departmental workshops and support change management activities

Outside Sales

• Recording and documenting spare parts requirements directly at the customer’s site
• Assembly and installation of spare parts, retrofits and upgrades on our machines
• Regular maintenance and mechanical overhauls to ensure plant availability
• Analysis and resolution of technical faults (troubleshooting)
• Assisting customers with fault diagnosis
• Training and supporting the customer’s operating and maintenance personnel in the safe and efficient use of the machines
