Data Engineer

• Build and continuously evolve a modern Data Lake architecture on AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Iceberg).
• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Apache Airflow, dbt and Apache Spark for processing large volumes of data.
• Design and implement a comprehensive game analytics and event tracking system for our gaming platform.
• Implement comprehensive data quality checks using dbt tests and monitoring solutions to ensure data quality and availability.
• Work closely with our teams to deliver high-performance data analyses and reports.
• Optimize data queries and storage for cost-efficient and high-performance analytics workloads.
• Automate data processing workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Data Engineer – all genders welcome

• You will build and continuously develop our modern Data Lake architecture on AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Iceberg).
• You will design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Airflow, dbt and Apache Spark to process large volumes of data — from real-time events to structured storage following a medallion architecture.
• You will design and implement a comprehensive game analytics and event-tracking system for our gaming platform (Spawn Engine, G-RGS) to capture player behavior, game performance and business KPIs in real time.
• You will implement extensive data quality checks with dbt tests and Great Expectations, as well as monitoring solutions to ensure data quality and availability.
• You will work closely with our teams (backend, frontend, statistics, math, finance) to provide high-performance data analyses and reports.
• You will optimize queries and data storage for cost-efficient, high-performance analytics workloads and automate data processing with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Backend Engineer

• Entwicklung unserer Gaming-as-a-Service-Plattform sowie Implementierung neuer Features und Kundenanbindungen.
• Verantwortung für die strategische Ausrichtung der Softwarearchitektur.
• Konzeption einer vollumfänglichen Testabdeckung und Integration neuer Features.
• Entwicklung robuster und skalierbarer Backend-Architekturen in Go.
• Gewährleistung einer zuverlässigen API-Kommunikation zwischen Clients und Servern.
• Optimierung der Server-Performance und Skalierbarkeit für hohe Verfügbarkeit.
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Sicherheits-, Compliance- und regulatorischen Standards.
