About the role You are the heart of our logistics, ensuring every order reaches the customer quickly, accurately and cost-efficiently. You manage our 3PL partner, optimize processes from inbound to returns, and keep costs, quality and KPIs in focus. With your organizational talent and hands-on mentality, you ensure our operations run smoothly — whether day-to-day or during peak periods. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring orders move smoothly and cost-efficiently from the warehouse to the customer. Specifically, this means: you manage and optimize the entire outbound process — from goods receipt through shipping to returns handling. You are the primary contact for our 3PL provider: daily communication, process optimization, SLA monitoring, contract and invoice management. You monitor and improve our returns processes — including processing, crediting and refurbishment/reconditioning. You analyze and reduce our logistics cost per order. You act as the interface to Customer Care regarding delivery issues, complaints or returns. You ensure that legal and internal requirements are observed in warehouse and shipping processes. Daily: monitoring of inbound receipts, shipping releases, shipment status and returns. Direct coordination with our 3PL for discrepancies or escalations. Weekly: performance analyses, alignments with the 3PL, review of billing. Monthly: KPI reporting, cost monitoring, seasonal peak planning, review of return reasons. Ad-hoc: contract & SLA reviews, optimization of packaging and shipping standards, establishment of new processes. Requirements At least 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce operations, ideally in a D2C environment. Solid experience working with 3PL providers (management, SLA oversight, contract handling). Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or comparable education with relevant professional experience. Strong knowledge of e-commerce processes (outbound, returns, shipping logistics). Experience in cost and KPI monitoring and deriving optimization measures. Proficiency with ERP and 3PL systems. Strong organizational and analytical skills — you keep an overview even under high order volumes. Process optimization is in your DNA: you identify weaknesses and develop pragmatic solutions. Strong communication skills and confident presence when working with external partners. Hands-on mentality: you step in where needed and don’t wait for others to start.
