About the role
- Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to the Strategic Sourcing team
- Oversee the end-to-end bidding process: develop/issue bid packages, organize pre-bid meetings, conduct bid analyses
- Manage sourcing projects via Ariba Sourcing Module and ensure timely execution
- Review and approve project executive summaries, cost analyses, and recommendations before senior management review
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize spend and supplier performance
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and facilitate meetings for the Strategic Sourcing department
- Monitor agreement expirations and ensure timely renewals
- Lead supplier performance evaluations and guide buyers to resolve vendor issues
- Coordinate work schedules and ensure team coverage during absences
- Oversee system administration for the Purchasing team
- Guide and support individual goal setting, performance reviews, and professional development
- Promote cross-training within the team to improve operational effectiveness
- Assist with contracts as needed and visit North American HLUS purchasing supported sites
- Drive procurement best practices and standardization across Fujifilm group companies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years Purchasing/procurement experience
- 5+ years progressive strategic sourcing and/or team leadership roles
- Demonstrated expertise with SAP or equivalent ERP purchasing modules
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong project management skills
- Proven negotiation skills and supplier relationship management experience
- Ability to analyze complex procurement data and develop actionable recommendations
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience supervising a team (approximately 5 employees)
- Experience with Ariba Sourcing and Spend Analysis tools (desired)
- Familiarity with indirect purchasing categories and procurement compliance (desired)
- CPSM or CPP certification is a plus
- Must be within a commutable distance to Greenwood, SC and able to visit North American HLUS sites as needed
