Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to the Strategic Sourcing team to ensure the achievement of departmental goals and continuous improvement.
Oversee the end-to-end bidding process, including development and issuance of bid packages, organizing pre-bid meetings, and conducting thorough bid analyses.
Manage sourcing projects via the Ariba Sourcing Module, ensuring timely progress, adherence to deadlines, and successful project execution.
Review and approve all project executive summaries cost analyses, and recommendations prior to dissemination to senior management.
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actionable strategies to optimize spend and supplier performance.
Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and facilitate meetings to communicate progress and results for the Strategic Sourcing Dept.
Monitor agreement expirations and ensure timely renewals.
Lead regular supplier performance evaluations and guide the Strategic Sourcing buyers to collaborate with vendors to address issues and strengthen partnerships.
Coordinates work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of daily duties and projects.
Ensures coverage during team member absences for continuation of workflow.
Oversees system administration for the Purchasing team.
Guide and support individual goal setting, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives within the Purchasing team.
Promote cross-training within the team to build versatility, responsiveness, and improve operational effectiveness.
Assists with contracts as needed.
Visit North American HLUS purchasing supported sites as needed for regular performance assessments and goal planning.
Drives procurement best practices and standardization across all Fujifilm group companies in procurement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of Purchasing/procurement experience, with 5+ years progressive strategic sourcing and/or team leadership roles.
Demonstrated expertise with SAP or equivalent ERP purchasing modules.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong project management skills, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills facilitating effective stakeholder engagement.
Ability to analyze complex procurement data and develop actionable recommendations.
Strong organizational skills with well-developed problem-solving capabilities.
