About the role
- Create, develop, and validate new products from customer requirements; initiate preliminary design concepts and evaluate through concept feasibility, design validation, manufacturing process and PPAP approvals
- Collaborate with a global, multidisciplinary team to develop and launch innovative new products
- Oversee product line maintenance to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective products
- Benchmark competitive equipment
- Participate in multi-disciplinary collaboration to correct manufacturing, quality, and purchasing issues
- Define critical-to-quality dimensions and features of components and products
- Report to Bryan Stout
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related degree (required)
- Three plus years of related experience (required)
- Experience with project management (preferred)
- Experience in the design of pumps or other rotating equipment (preferred)
- Advanced: Creo/SolidWorks, presentation/PowerPoint, spreadsheet
- Intermediate: Product lifecycle management, Word processing/typing, alphanumeric data entry
- Self-motivated and collaborative; effective communication; results-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
