About the role
- Provide high-quality, live tutoring services to students in 1:1 and/or small group settings (up to 8 students per group)
- Conduct tutoring sessions ranging from 15 minutes to 1 hour in length
- Create a virtual learning environment that is safe, accepting, fun, and interactive
- Deliver provided curriculum and slide decks in a clear and engaging manner
- Monitor and adapt instruction to meet student needs
- Administer provided assessments according to a predetermined schedule
- Maintain professional and timely communication with the Framework Tutor Ops Team
- Facilitate academic support via a secure online video conferencing platform
Requirements
- Must hold a current and valid teaching license - expired licenses are not accepted
- Spanish Speaking/Bilingual required
- Must be certified in General Ed, Math, or ELA
- Must be available weekly on Monday -Thursday from 7:00-11:00 pm EST
- Must reside and work in the U.S.
- Must have a working computer, mic, and camera, as well as reliable internet and a quiet, distraction-free environment
- Ability to pass a federal level background check, which may include fingerprinting
- Proficiency utilizing online platforms and virtual teaching tools
- Prior online tutoring experience is a plus
