About the role
- Lead sales efforts and develop/maintain a sales channel for our semiconductor business
- Set clear objectives and provide guidance and monitoring of performance to achieve sales targets
- Lead the activities of the Sales Engineer in terms of time and priorities
- Provide technical leadership and support; assist in complex technical discussions, product demonstrations, and troubleshooting
- Prospecting, lead generation, and sales channel development for semiconductor business
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy; identify potential clients, understand purchasing cycles, build and maintain sales channel of reps/distributors, and achieve revenue targets
- Stay informed of product offerings and provide feedback to product development
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers; offer tailored solutions
- Create and deliver presentations and technical proposals with assistance of Semiconductor Sales Engineer
- Conduct market research on trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to refine sales strategies
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve technical issues
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data in SalesForce; prepare sales reports and forecasts
- Travel >25% as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant STEM discipline
- 5+ years of direct sales experience
- Proven experience in semiconductor sales to end-users, with a focus on ALD technology
- Strong technical background and an in-depth understanding of semiconductor processes, with emphasis on ALD
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and motivate a diversified sales team
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel (>25%) and attend industry events
- Hands-on experience with CRM software, preferably SalesForce
