About the role
- Lead the creation of innovative Salesforce solutions and drive the development team within the Ford Credit Salesforce Product Team
- Lead development and configuration of sophisticated Salesforce systems end-to-end or for specific product lifecycle stages
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), manage and collaborate with teams, make strategic/team decisions
- Engage with multiple teams and provide solutions across teams; provide strategic guidance and technical expertise
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives in software development processes and methodologies
- Implement and advocate best practices in software development and provide expert input on design decisions
- Ensure robust integration of the Salesforce platform with Ford Credit’s existing application portfolio, optimizing performance and functionality
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Salesforce Platform Expertise: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, SOQL/SOSL
- Programming Languages: Apex, Java, JavaScript; familiarity with HTML and CSS
- Data modelling, data migration, and integration with external systems
- Knowledge of Salesforce security features: role hierarchies, sharing rules, field-level security
- Workflow Automation: Process Builder, Flow, Workflow Rules
- Certifications: at least one core Salesforce certification (Salesforce Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator or App Builder); Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II
- Salesforce Integration experience (beneficial): design and integrate API services, APEX data loader, Salesforce web services APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, REST, Pub/Sub
- Experience with Anypoint/Mulesoft as Salesforce Integration ESB (beneficial)
- Knowledge of Salesforce Automotive Cloud and Service Cloud (beneficial)
- Knowledge of the Retail Banking or Credit industry (beneficial)
- Proficiency with CI/CD and related tools; Copado experience beneficial
- Soft skills: strong analytical/problem-solving, excellent verbal and written communication, adaptability, collaboration
