About the role
- Develop and provide climate control strategies and calibrations for heat pumps
- Develop and verify performance of next generation thermal systems
- Work with heat pump suppliers and internal partners to define and manage strategy and calibrations
- Lead wind tunnel and road testing to calibrate the heat pump
- Develop new thermal strategies in support of electrification objectives
- Compressor Controllability/Integration
- RSS/EXV Calibration
- Deliver globally consistent calibrations to meet thermal attribute performance objectives
- Support attribute engineers in analysis, review, and signoff of individual calibrations (requires wind tunnel testing and data acquisition)
- DFMEA Development
- FMA Foundation Documents
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- 2+ years of experience with automotive thermal control systems development and calibration
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship available)
- Preferred Degree: Bachelor of Science
