About the role

  • Part of a 3-5 member team delivering new-model equipment for engine, transmission and driveline components
  • Support cost studies, process engineering, machine install, commissioning, and launch phases of new Powertrain programs
  • Provide on-site support at Ford Powertrain Plants
  • Represent Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering at program meetings (CPMT, TPMT, Pre-Production Build Meetings, etc.)
  • Track new program equipment from vendor runoff through in-plant capability
  • Maintain LQOS charts and program master schedules using Balkan chart system
  • Facilitate PO/APN/CR meeting agendas and packages and participate in layout and timing resolution
  • Analyze schedules, coordinate recovery actions, and facilitate timing issue resolutions
  • Update and publish program review decks and web databases; manage Work Order requests and WERS notifications
  • Serve as program change management coordinator and maintain program cost tracking and checkbook
  • Drive documentation updates, maintain Program SharePoint, and coordinate internal/external quality audits
  • Assist Production Engineering, Plant Operations and GME with procurement, spare parts, and LRCA events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or a related field
  • 1-3 years of project management experience
  • Willingness to travel to Ford Plant sites on a daily or weekly basis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation skills with experience creating and delivering presentations
  • Experience supporting program launches (preferred)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available
