Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure suppliers exceed launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery
Lead cross-functional decisions with Ford & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues
Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers
Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations
Lead adherence to Ford standards (i.e.Q1)
Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites
Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP)
Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality

Requirements
Bachelor of Science/ Engineering, or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude
4+ years’ experience in wiring, gained from design or manufacturing environments
Ability to lead resolution of manufacturing, quality, and/or capacity issues on-site with suppliers
Ability to travel in the US, Canada, Central America and Mexico approximately 80% of the time
Experience leading multiple assignments with demanding timelines (preferred)
Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified (preferred)
Manufacturing, maintenance, and quality operations experience (preferred)
Ability to develop and present materials to leadership on short notice (preferred)
