Job Overview: The Supplier Quality Team is responsible for supplier selection and performance monitoring as it relates to key supplier delivery and quality requirements. You will refine and execute improvements to the supplier audit and qualification process in concert with Supply Chain, Engineering and the QA team. You will work to develop and execute quality plans by utilizing APQP, PPAP and root-cause analysis on a regular basis. You are highly organized, communicative, and will thrive in a nimble, fast-paced environment that includes Engineering, R&D, Operations and Supply Chain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline\n
- 10+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a fast paced and high growth environment (industrial and/or automotive a plus)\n
- 2+ years of experience in one of these areas: machining, welding, casting, coating (automotive or aerospace quality systems a plus)\n
- Knowledge and experience with implementing APQP, PPAP and Root Cause Analysis\n
- Six Sigma, Lean, and ASQ Certification and trainings are preferred\n
- The position will require up to 30% travel
