About the role
- Drive sales and provide support for Foodservice business in the Mid-Atlantic through Northeast
- Nurture existing business relationships with current customers and distribution partners
- Identify and penetrate accounts in the Foodservice Segment within distribution network
- Manage new product placements and promotional activities
- Support Manager’s day-to-day sales activities and grow overall business
- Facilitate sales support objectives including ride-with’s, Distribution Shows, end-user new item reviews
- Regularly present new items to customer base
- Manage sample spend by territory
- Maintain expert level of product knowledge
- Participate in national and regional food shows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred
- 1-3+ years of relevant Sales Experience
- Shows sales/business development acumen
- Foodservice experience preferred; a passion for food is essential
- Strong sales skills and product knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proactive, strategic thinker
- Willingness to take initiative
- Competitive, driven to be the best
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Possesses a strong sense of urgency to accomplish goals and objectives
