Loan Assistant

• Contact inbound mortgage leads from our credit union partners through phone calls, emails, and text messages to establish initial contact and assess borrower needs.
• Conduct preliminary borrower conversations to gather information, determine eligibility, and identify financing objectives before introducing members to a Loan Officer.
• Manage a high volume of inbound lead opportunities while maintaining timely follow-up and detailed communication records.
• Assist with loan setup, application review, and collection of borrower documentation.
• Communicate with borrowers, Realtors, title companies, insurance agents, and internal team members regarding loan status and outstanding items.
• Review files for completeness and accuracy before submission to the loan officer.
• Track loan milestones and proactively follow up on conditions and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate loan information and notes within the Loan Origination System.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining compliance with company policies and mortgage lending regulations.
