About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond promptly to inbound mortgage leads from multiple credit union partners
- Consult with prospective borrowers to understand homeownership goals and financing needs
- Originate accurate loan applications and gather supporting documentation
- Maintain consistent communication with borrowers, credit union partners, and referral sources
- Manage pipeline activity and coordinate with internal teams to resolve file issues
- Build productive credit union partner and referral relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active NMLS license required
- Minimum 2 years of successful residential mortgage loan origination experience preferred
- Experience with purchase, refinance, first-time homebuyer, move-up buyer, portfolio, brokered, and government loan products preferred
- Strong understanding of mortgage guidelines, disclosures, documentation requirements, credit, income, asset analysis, and pipeline management
- Detail-oriented, organized, accurate, self-motivated, and ethical
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred
