About the role
- The Director, Branch Banking leads a geographic region of FNBO branches, driving sales growth, exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and talent development while managing risk and compliance.
- This role requires a dynamic leader who spends approximately 60% of their time in branches, coaching teams, strengthening performance, and ensuring consistent delivery of FNBO's mission and values across all locations.
- Reporting to the Vice President of Branch Banking, you'll balance the dual priorities of people leadership and business results—developing high-performing branch managers while fostering strong internal partnerships and community relationships that enhance FNBO's reputation and market presence.
- Provide strategic direction and hands-on coaching to branch managers, fostering excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with branch managers to review goals, provide coaching, and remove barriers to success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years branch management experience.
- Proven track record of sales performance management.
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and risk management.
- Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Commitment to community engagement and corporate social responsibility.
- In-branch presence at least 60% of the time
