About the role
- Secure event video rights, strategic partnerships, and monetization across multiple sports
- Own P&L and KPI responsibilities, define high-level strategy and execute through implementation
- Lead across departments and coordinate with Marketing, Editorial and Production to ensure executable media rights partnerships
- Identify, develop and cultivate event, association, athlete, and brand partnerships to grow value and scale
- Coordinate execution of content, premium offerings, and live streaming
- Establish qualitative and quantitative goals for each target space
- Foster an innovative customer-focused culture and retain key strategic relationships
- Report into the VP, Global Rights Acquisition
Requirements
- 5+ years of media rights acquisition experience
- Business Development background
- Ability to successfully build relationships and secure meaningful partnerships
- Complete and cohesive understanding of the digital media world
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience developing businesses in both B2B and B2C environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Consensus builder
- MBA preferred, but not required for right candidate
- This role is required to be based in Austin, TX (willingness to relocate if not local)
- Work authorization to work in the United States (application requests authorization and visa sponsorship status)
