About the role
- Drive development of advanced credit models, enhance credit risk management, and optimize monetization strategies for Flex's products.
- Set Risk/LTV product strategy and own product roadmap development for a risk domain.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, finance, compliance, legal, and other stakeholders including leadership to define and deliver products that achieve department OKRs.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure successful execution by providing clear specifications, prioritizing features, and addressing technical challenges.
- Advocate for customers by shipping products in the best interest of them and the business.
- Work closely with Customer Support and Operations teams to provide the best possible experience to customers.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, mentor junior team members, and promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- On-site expectations of 3 days per week in New York Headquarters (hybrid role).
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience.
- Proven ability to collaborate closely with engineering for successful product delivery (execution excellence).
- Experience in fintech, banking, or credit products
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to comprehend engineering systems and architectures.
- Experience with underwriting, fraud, or decisioning platforms is a plus.
- Demonstrated quantitative skills, showcasing impact on metrics.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and adept communication of data-driven recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-directed and capable of working independently to drive project ownership and ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Passionate problem-solver with a keen intellectual curiosity.
- Highly motivated team player with a startup mindset, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
