About the role

  • Facilitate the seamless integration of electronic health records (EHR), medical imaging systems, and other critical healthcare applications
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand clinical workflows and tailor IT systems to enhance efficiency
  • Implement interoperability standards to enable the exchange of patient data across different healthcare platforms
  • Work across numerous facilities with extensive on-site exposure and travel (up to 80% on-site)
  • Provide desktop and user support, including Windows client and server environments
  • Implement and maintain virtualization solutions (VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix) and cloud solutions (Azure, AWS)
  • Manage Active Directory and related infrastructure
  • Use PSA or RMM tools for support and management
  • Perform physical tasks required to support facility IT: lifting up to 25lbs, running network cables, connecting and testing networking, traveling to client sites

Requirements

  • Virtualization Technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix, etc.)
  • Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2019
  • Cloud Solutions (Azure, AWS)
  • Active Directory
  • Desktop support and user support
  • Windows Client Operating Systems (Window 7, 10, 11)
  • PSA or RMM experience
  • Language Skills: Capable of effective communication in both written and spoken form
  • Mathematical Skills: Familiarity with basic mathematical concepts and operations
  • Reasoning Ability: Skilled in logical reasoning and analytical thinking
  • Certificates: A+, Network+, Security+
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Excellent high-level engineering skills
  • Customer oriented, solid business acumen and excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record of performance against goals year over year
  • Knowledge of IT best practices and ability to use best judgement to service facility’s needs
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with all levels of internal and external professionals
  • Position requires travel: Up to 80% of the time to facility sites
