Client-focused Systems Engineer responsible for assessing, designing, implementing, securing, configuring, installing, and supporting IT/OT environments for customers
Collaborate with ProArch Sales and Consulting staff to design solutions that fit client business needs
Work under guidance of the Industry Solutions Program Manager to align technology with strategic goals and objectives
Plan, migrate, implement, and manage Windows Server, virtualization, Azure, Office 365, virtual desktop, backup/DR, management tools, and enterprise storage solutions
Perform strategic technology assessments including data gathering, analysis, and recommendations in an Energy setting
Align organization technology goals with business requirements and provide staged improvement solutions for Operational Technology systems
Troubleshoot network and system issues and participate in Incident Response activities
Collaborate with clients across verticals, third-party vendors, and internal teams
Develop product and solution recommendations for deliverables and presales opportunities; assist with budgeting and time estimation
Serve as contact point for escalation on Energy projects and provide mentoring and technical oversight to internal staff and customers
Produce concise project documentation, prepare and deliver presentations to diverse audiences, and maintain professional certifications
Collaborate with ProArch’s Security team to harden customer systems and make recommendations
Provide daily time accounting, monthly expense reports, and support project delivery; willingness to travel up to 50%
Requirements
Experience 10 years+ or associate's degree or better
Certifications: Microsoft, VMware, storage, and networking
Must pass a verbal and written technical assessment
Clean valid U.S. Issued Driver’s License
Willingness to travel up to 50% of time
Contact point for escalation regarding Energy projects and support
Supports ProArch’s Industry Solutions Manager with tasks related to the Energy business unit

Planning, migration, implementation, and management of Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services/DFS, IIS, and Group Policy Objects/Hardening
Planning, implementation, and management of Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMware vSphere environments
Planning, implementation, and management of Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS and Virtual Networking solutions
Planning and implementation of Microsoft Office 365 E-mail, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
Planning and implementation of end-user virtual solutions including Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and VMware Horizon View
Implementation and management of backup technologies (image and file based), Disaster Recovery and replication (Veeam Enterprise, VMware Site Recovery Manager, Azure Site Recovery)
Implementation and administration of Microsoft Enterprise Management Tools such as Intune
Implementation and administration of Enterprise Storage (DELL/EMC, HP, Microsoft, VMware Software Defined Storage)
High level understanding of Switch, Routing, Wireless, and Firewall networking including Cisco, HP, Meraki, SonicWALL, and Barracuda
Experience providing OT security and support solutions for automation and control technologies and systems (DCS, PLCs, SCADA)
Understanding of industrial control protocols such as Modbus and DNP3
Troubleshooting network and system issues
Security best practices and system hardening
Experience in Incident Response
Ability to communicate complex IT/OT network systems and dataflows to stakeholders and provide analysis of risks, requirements, and responsibilities
