About the role
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
- Support and develop MPI and Concert gateways that manage credit and debit card transactions between Card Issuers and the DNA core banking platform.
- Ensure reliability and efficiency of transaction processes to directly impact client satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Work onsite Monday through Friday and participate in in-person collaboration for onboarding and productivity.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years of experience with Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL databases.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
- 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
- In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
- All offers of employment are contingent on standard background checks; federal/state/local contract roles may require additional government background checks for public trust or sensitive positions.
- (Preferred) 6+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
