• Oversee the scheduling function within the organisation's core businesses.
• Ensure the delivery of efficient, compliant, and cost-effective duty and roster schedules.
• Manage a team of Senior Schedulers and Schedulers.
• Drive performance, innovation, and alignment with operational and strategic goals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Network Planning, Operations, and HR to align schedules with strategic goals.
• Lead the development and optimisation of driver duties and rosters.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Change Checkpoints.
• Contribute to crisis and contingency planning, ensuring scheduling flexibility and responsiveness to service disruptions.
• Drive continuous improvement in scheduling practices and oversee compliance with regulatory requirements.

Schedules Manager

Analyst

• Support the Commercial Analysis team in delivering insight across revenue and customer performance
• Turn complex data into clear, actionable insight
• Influence senior decision-making
• Play a key role in driving commercial performance across the business
• Support data-led decision-making
• Work closely with senior stakeholders
• Assess new funding schemes and understand the impact for localised recommendations
• Ensuring detailed knowledge of Concessions agreements
• Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate revenue allocation
• Produce detailed budgets and forecasts for Volume, Revenue & Yield

Commercial Analyst

• Partner with leaders to implement HSS&E strategies and drive continuous improvement
• Support ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 accreditation and maintain SMS & EMS systems
• Identify and lead initiatives to improve safety, environmental performance, and wellbeing
• Advise and coach managers on legal compliance and practical HS&E solutions
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and investigations to enhance standards
• Analyse performance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to senior Managers identifying opportunities for improvement
• Develop and deliver HS&E training and contribute to policy development
• Represent First Bus at internal and external HS&E forums
