Process escrow account management activities including monthly escrow payments, escrow analyses, off-cycle analysis, and general escrow maintenance
Act as department subject matter expert or department/group lead and provide guidance to team members
Assist in scheduling, coordinating team activities, onboarding and training new employees
Troubleshoot complex problems and identify solutions across applications and functions
Maintain escrow interest rates, process deposits and controls
Monitor and oversee Tax, Insurance, and Insurance Claims vendors; track activity and process documents and disbursements
Monitor vendor printing of Escrow Account Statements and checks; reconcile files and monitor quality and timeliness
Monitor vendor calls for satisfactory customer service and compliance with rules
Research and resolve customer requests and inquiries; evaluate multiple factors and communicate results
Adhere to regulatory, investor, and state guidelines and maintain department documentation, reporting, and workflow
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Some college preferred
5+ years of experience working in a mortgage environment, preferably Mortgage Loan Servicing specific to escrow account activities (real estate taxes, property insurance, escrow analysis, mortgage insurance)
