About the role
- Lead development of enterprise-wide costing, inventory accounting, and procurement finance standards
- Design and implement consistent standard costing and inventory valuation methodologies
- Ensure BOM accuracy and inventory valuation consistency across locations
- Act as Finance lead for Microsoft Business Central ERP rollout, owning configuration design and master data integrity
- Provide authoritative guidance on technical accounting issues and ensure audit readiness
- Develop and maintain corporate finance policies and procedures aligned with audit standards
- Collaborate with Procurement to assess raw material costing, tariffs, and supplier contracts to support negotiations
- Serve as a resource and coach for site Controllers and drive SKU-level costing visibility to strengthen profitability analysis
- Report directly to the Vice President of Commercial & Operations Finance and partner with Operations, Procurement, and Commercial Finance teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in operations finance, with deep expertise in costing, inventory, and procurement finance
- Demonstrated leadership across multi-site finance teams
- Strong ERP skills (Microsoft Business Central, SAP, or Great Plains)
- MBA or CPA (preferred)
- Experience in food & beverage or CPG manufacturing (preferred)
- Familiarity with private equity environments and ERP upgrades (preferred)
- Strategic mindset with a bias for action
