About the role
- Maintain contact with State Offices and Personal Lines Marketing to support product development activities
- Analyze, research and create new personal lines insurance products for territory-wide implementation
- Coordinate development and implementation of new personal lines products with other functional departments and chair coordinating meetings where assigned
- Initiate preparation and publication of procedure bulletins, field bulletins and marketing kits for new product introductions
- Follow up with functional departments, Agents/District Managers, State Offices and Service Centers to verify correct implementation
- Extract and prepare data from multiple sources; reconcile data across systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Build rate order of calculation to determine premiums by coverage and calculate rate impacts and off-balances
- Develop clear, concise documentation and visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making
- Track and evaluate key business metrics to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product changes and implementations
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance data quality
- Learn and apply best practices in insurance product management, pricing, and regulatory compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior internship experience in a Product team is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Technical skills with platforms such as SAS, SQL, Excel, PowerBI preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient PC Skills, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases
- Strong Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude

- Physical ability to walk, see, drive, speak, hear, stand and lift/carry up to 20 pounds
