About the role
- Learn about the unsecured consumer lending space in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare journal entries, financial statement analysis and account reconciliations
- Reconcile high-volume cash transactions and research reconciling items in loan management system
- Assist in streamlining of accounting processed and procedures
- Support Accounting Manager with strategic projects
- Track real-time performance of the loan portfolio using SQL-based data visualization tools
- Serve as support for the members of the Accounting team
Requirements
- Incoming or current senior in an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree Program in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Strong quantitative analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, follow through to completion, and present conclusions of analysis to senior management in an organized and thoughtful manner
- Experience with SQL or other relational database tools a plus
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious
