About the role

  • Oversee and manage a set of interrelated compliance projects to meet department objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including project managers, team members, and senior management to align goals with business objectives
  • Develop and manage program budgets and allocate resources effectively
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance and adjust as necessary to achieve desired outcomes
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on delivery
  • Partner with leadership to establish long-term departmental goals and strategies
  • Provide leadership to guide teams and inspire collaboration towards program goals
  • Use project management methodologies and tools; manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Assist with planning and coordinating project scope, schedule, launch, communication, training strategy, milestones, and resource needs
  • Create and maintain project documentation and report status, challenges, and opportunities to leadership frequently
  • Protect, secure, and properly handle all confidential data to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience or equivalent retirement or financial services experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of PC applications including SQL and MS Office products
  • Ability to create and maintain project documents including project plan using Microsoft Project
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Business analysis experience; drafting procedures and training materials
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Disciplined work habits and attention to details; self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to present in front of large audiences (town halls, senior leadership, Board of Directors)
  • Ability to orchestrate effective meetings
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
  • For virtual remote positions: uninterrupted virtual workspace and family care in place during business hours
  • Internet work speed requirement of 25 Mbps or better (stronger if multiple users); call center roles require hardwiring or proximity to router
