About the role

  • Supervise and lead a team of caregivers by training, developing and supporting them.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to discuss client needs and market insights.
  • Prepare and engage new caregivers prior to orientation and conduct weekly orientation sessions.
  • Coordinate orientation requirements with Talent Acquisition and partner with Staffing on client and caregiver requirements.
  • Facilitate client introductions and accompany caregivers on their initial shift.
  • Deliver ongoing training including individualized sessions, skills labs, and soft skills development.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and address caregiver needs in coordination with Compliance.
  • Serve as contact point for caregiver inquiries and concerns.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback.
  • Assist HR with progressive discipline as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate logs of caregiver communications and requests.
  • Participate in company meetings and training sessions and adhere to company and regulatory policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or senior care management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Commitment to enhancing the quality of life for caregivers and clients.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • 2-3 professional references.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Preferred: Experience with a Point of Care software.
  • Preferred: Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities in a caregiving or healthcare setting.
